My name is Marta Wojciechowska. I am a political theorist interested in an interplay between political ideals and social practice. My work focuses on questions of democracy, cities, and inclusion.
I am currently at the Department of Political Economy, King’s College London where I work on the project ‘Coping with Complexity and Urban Inequality: Dilemmas of Democratic Mega-city Governance’. The project is fully funded by Economic and Social Research Council UK. You can find more information about the project here. I am also a Co-chair of Critical Policy Studies Related Group of the American Political Science Association.
Previously, I have been a Fellow at the interdisciplinary, flagship course called LSE100 where I designed an interdisciplinary module on democracy. I have experience in teaching a wide range of topics within social and political science at London School of Economics, King’s College London and University College London.
My PhD (2020) is from LSE, Government Department.
